In a core line of activity in 1941 - 1945 and in subsequent years, Sberbank pursues a nuclear industry partnership with the government. Sberbank assistance with mobilising resources and financing R&D efforts helps Russia attain leadership in nuclear fuel production and processing and retain this status to this day.
