Igor Shuvalov and Hillary Clinton visit the Molodezhny Office of Sberbank on Russky island as part of the APEC summit

September 10, 2012, Moscow – The Molodezhny Office in the Far East Federal University campus on Russky island welcomed Igor Shuvalov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State.

The Molodezhny Office of Sberbank is a high-tech branch equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Its major IT innovations include an information and payment terminal with a remote consultant feature, interactive tables, video walls, banking video kiosk and, of course, the favorite of our customers – Sberbasha the robot, the innovative office employee, which not only performs banking operations but also is capable of holding a conversation with the customer in two languages.

Hillary Clinton commented on the unusual uniform of the staff. In line with the young people's concept of the office, its employees greet and serve their customers in jeans and white shirts.

Igor Shuvalov mentioned the speed and high quality of the preparations of the branches of Sberbank's Dalnevostochny Bank for the APEC summit and preferred to choose this place for his meeting with foreign reporters.

As part of the APEC summit, the Molodezhny Office of Sberbank was visited by Michael McFaul, the US ambassador to Russia, Djauhari Oratmangun, Indonesia's Ambassador to Russia, Vladimir Miklushevsky, the Governor of Primorsky Krai, and other guests. During the week of the summit, the office has accepted deposits for 4 million rubles, sold 91 coins and made currency exchange transactions to the amount of 267 thousand US dollars.
