Sberbank and McDonald’s: a partnership for innovation

7 June 2019, Saint Petersburg — Today, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, McDonald’s and Sberbank signed a cooperation agreement which launches the companies’ joint work in a number of areas.

Under the agreement, the companies intend to develop partnership in acquiring and a number of other innovative areas such as using technical systems to analyse data, developing consumer behaviour analysis systems, speeding up bank card payments, developing a payroll project for employees, opening a pilot branch of the bank combined with a McDonald’s unit, participation of McDonald’s in the Thank You from Sberbank programme, and cooperation in socially significant areas.
