Bart Schlatmann to become Sberbank’s Chief Transformation Officer
February 1st 2017, Moscow - As of today Bart Schlatmann is taking the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer of Sberbank, reporting directly to Herman Gref, CEO of Sberbank.
Mr. Schlatmann will be joining Sberbank’s executive team after leaving ING Group where he worked for over 22 years in various positions. For the last 10 years Mr. Schlatmann was the Chief Operating Officer of ING Netherlands and leading one of the most innovative transformations in the banking industry. He was one of the leaders behind the redesign and transformation of ING Netherlands into an omnichannel bank, with clear customer journeys and a full agile way of working.
Earlier Sberbank has announced the implementation of an omnichannel service delivery model for its clients. The bank works towards achieving its objectives by digitalizing customer journeys through the implementation of the Unified Front-end System, Core Banking Platform and several other cutting-edge technological platforms. Sberbank has the ambition to improve the velocity of introducing new innovation for our clients and therefore will be implementing the agile way of working within the organization.
