Sber launches Russian Stories project dedicated to achievements by compatriots
Sber has launched Russian Stories, a project showcasing the great achievements and feats accomplished by residents of Russia. Anyone who wishes to participate can share inspirational stories they have heard about on the project website. The first 30 stories of Russian heroes will be uploaded on April 14. In the future, the richest and brightest stories about everyday Russian citizens that have accomplished great feats will be uploaded to the sber.ru website and displayed on billboards and in the form of video clips in the media and on social networks.
The project website is comprised of three sections: Pride, Care, and Belief. They already feature the achievements of the microbiologists who developed the COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V, space explorers, Russian Nobel prize laureates, doctors saving lives during the pandemic, ecologists protecting endangered species, prizewinners of international competitions for school and university students, entrepreneurs creating new jobs, AI tech developers, and other residents of Russia. The project will last six months and its results will be tallied in October.
We are collecting stories about the heroes among us. Russia is full of people who have accomplished amazing things and they deserve to have the entire country know about them.
We plan to gather thousands of stories and we will tell the best of them to the entire country, displaying them on the sber.ru website and billboards and sharing the videos in the media and on social networks. This project will show both our country’s past and present, as well as its potential – the way it strives toward new horizons thanks to the talent and energy of the people around us.
