Sberbank announces personnel changes to Sberbank Capital management
February 10, 2020, Moscow — Ashot Khachaturyants, CEO of Sberbank Capital LLC, has decided to pursue other career opportunities outside Sberbank Group and resign from his position.
Vagan Gasparyan, Deputy CEO of Sberbank Capital, will act as the company’s interim CEO.
Ashot Khachaturyants has been the head of Sberbank Capital since its foundation in 2008. Projects that Sberbank Capital implemented with Mr. Khachaturyants at the helm were important not only economically, but also socially. Under the restructuring, the company managed to save some significant enterprises in the leading sectors of the economy, provide support to regions, and save people’s jobs. Prior to joining the Sberbank team, Mr. Khachaturyants had held key positions in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and Russian Federal Security Service. He was awarded with the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” III class and Sberbank’s silver decoration for his achievements.
