Sberbank winds up charity initiative aimed at fighting coronavirus through fundraising
June 15, 2020, Moscow — Sberbank has summed up the Let’s Stop the Coronavirus Together charity program aimed at raising funds to fight the pandemic.
The Sberbank initiative was supported by more than 48,000 people and 127 companies, which transferred more than RUB 89 mln to the foundation, and considering that Sberbank doubles the donations, the total amount raised topped RUB 179 mln.
All the funds will be used to support projects of Russian research institutes and organizations to ensure the availability of vaccines and drugs for coronavirus, as well as other preventive and therapeutic measures that will help stop the epidemic.

On the foundation’s website anticovid.vbudushee.ru, all participants of the Let’s Stop the Coronavirus Together charity program will be able to get detailed information on how the raised funds will be used.
